We ship from our stores in Maine to addresses in the continental United States. Gift cards and dry goods can also be sent to Alaska and Hawaii. International locations require special arrangement.
Six-packs of gelato pints are shipped from Brunswick in enough dry ice to last for their journey. Packages should be opened around dinnertime on the day that they arrive. You should confirm that pints are frozen solid and haven't begun to thaw before placing them in the freezer. Gelato Fiasco can only replace pints when dry ice problems are reported to Gelato Fiasco by email at email@example.com or voicemail at (207) 956-0680 on the evening of arrival.
If you or your recipient will not be home on the evening of arrival, please make arrangements to have a neighbor open the package and move the gelato to a freezer.
Pints are shippped on Mondays. This means that they leave our facility on Mondays and will arrive to you on a future day. When you place your order, you'll be able to choose the Monday ship date that works best for you or your recipient.
Shipping rates will appear in your shopping cart based on destination and are as follows:
- $13 per box to Close to Maine states. States eligible for Close to Maine shipping are: Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio. These packages ship via UPS Ground and arrive on Tuesday or Wednesdays.
- $60 per box to other U.S. states. These packages are shipped via UPS Next Day Air Saver and arrive on Tuesday.
We will send you an email on ship day with your tracking number. If you provide an email address for a gift recipient, we will also send them a head's up -- but we won't tell them the flavors you chose!
If you subscribe to our Cold Treats Sent Automatically program, shipping costs are already included in your membership total.
Gift cards are mailed for free with USPS First Class Mail. If you require tracking, you can upgrade the shipping service in your shopping cart.
Shipping for bagged coffee is calculated in your cart. Packages will be sent with USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground.

Placing an Order
If you're ordering for multiple recipients, please place one order at a time.
For gelato orders, your ship date and gift recipient's email address are set on the product page. If you need to change either one after ordering, please email us. We will email your gift recipient on the ship date to let them know a perishable package is en route, but we'll let the flavors be a surprise!
For any item, if you wish to include a gift message, there's a box on the first page of the shopping cart.
Refunds and Returns
We cannot accept returns. If you need to make a change to an order after placing it, please contact us immediately to see if the item has already been processed.
You are responsible for confirming that the shipping address you submit is current and correct. We cannot be responsible for pints that melt due to delays or returns due to incorrect addresses submitted by the customer. This is particularly important if you are giving as a gift -- please be sure that the recipient's address is correct!
