Gelato Fiasco's online store offers shipping direct from Gelato Fiasco in Brunswick. Need help? Email us at We do not take orders over the phone.

Our frozen packages are guaranteed to still be frozen on the day of arrival. Since frozen shipping can be tricky, we've carefully optimized our processes over the years to get great results. If you are interested in how our processes work or absolutely must have gelato on a certain date, please be sure to read this page fully.

We offer three types of gelato packages:

  • Pint 6-Pack, limited flavors of our grocery store pints ($70)
  • Hand-Packed 6-Pack, classic and seasonal flavors we hand-make daily at our Brunswick store, hand-packed just for your order ($89)
  • Flavor Vault 6-Pack, where we can make a special batch of any historical flavor just for you ($149)

We ship from Brunswick, Maine, to addresses in the continental United States. Gift cards and dry goods can also be sent to Alaska and Hawaii. Frozen packages cannot be sent outside the continental United States.

Frozen Pints

Six-packs of gelato pints are shipped from Brunswick in enough dry ice to last for their journey. Packages should be opened around dinnertime on the day that they arrive. You should confirm that pints are frozen solid and haven't begun to thaw before placing them in the freezer. Gelato Fiasco will replace pints when dry ice problems are promptly reported to Gelato Fiasco by email at

If you or your recipient will not be home on the evening of arrival, please make arrangements to have a neighbor open the package and move the gelato to a freezer.

Pints are shipped on a calendar of selected Tuesdays. This means that they leave our facility on Tuesday and will arrive to you on a future day. When you place your order, you'll be able to choose the Tuesday ship date that works best for you or your recipient.

Shipping rates will appear in your shopping cart based on destination and are as follows:

  • $15-20 per box to Close to Maine states. States eligible for Close to Maine shipping are: $15 Ground (typically 1 day): Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Vermont, Rhode Island, Connecticut, $20 Ground (typically 2 days): New York, New Jersey; Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington D.C., Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio. These packages arrive on Wednesday or Thursday.
  • $75-85 per box to other U.S. states, depending on distance (1 day). These packages are typically shipped via UPS Next Day Air Saver and are estimated to arrive on Wednesday.

UPS sometimes experiences delays at their facilities. You should assume that your package could be delayed by one day beyond what is estimated above.

We will send you an email on the ship day with your tracking number.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are mailed for $1 with USPS First Class Mail. This does not include tracking. If you require tracking, you can upgrade the shipping service in your shopping cart.


Shipping for bagged coffee is calculated in your cart. Packages will be sent with USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground.

Placing an Order

If you're ordering for multiple recipients, please place one order at a time.

For gelato orders, your ship date is selected by you on the product page. If you need to change it after ordering, please email us.

For any item, if you wish to include a gift message, there's a box on the first page of the shopping cart.

If we do not offer the flavor you are seeking, you can order our new Flavor Vault 6-Pack, where we'll run a special small batch of any historical or special flavor, assuming we can source the ingredients.

Refunds and Returns

We cannot accept returns. If you need to make a change to an order after placing it, please email us immediately to see if the item has already been processed.


You are responsible for confirming that the shipping address you submit is correct. We cannot be responsible for pints that melt due to transit problems resulting from an incorrect addresses submitted by the customer. This is particularly important if you are giving as a gift -- please be sure that the recipient's address is correct!
